Greetings! My name is Julie Vaughan and it is a privilege to teach 3rd grade at Willard South Elementary. The 2011-2012 school year will mark my 11th year of teaching and I couldn’t feel more proud to be a part of the Willard Community. (GO TIGERS!)
When I’m not at school I am a wife to my high school sweetheart, Brad, and mother to 3 beautiful…and ornery children. Nathan will soon turn 7 and will be in 1st grade, Katie will celebrate her 3rd birthday in September, and my 2 1/2 year old son Alex rounds out our bunch. As you can imagine they keep me very busy, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I LOVE spending time outside playing with my family, going to baseball games, working in the yard, baking, exercising, and doing anything that involves my kids. I enjoy listening to music, watching TV and movies with my husband whenever there is a free moment.
I am a Springfield native and graduated from Parkview High School in 1996. I went on to attend SMSU (now MSU) where I graduated in 2001. I wouldn’t be anywhere else than where I am right now. I love the area, I love my school, and I love my students! Nothing brightens my day like a visit from a former student and hearing all about their successes.
